Randal Kleiser's 1978 film, Grease, is a musical film based on the musical Grease by Warren Casey and Jim Jacobs. This film tells the story of two teen lovers, played by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, who were brought together at Rydell High School in the 1950s. This film's soundtrack sold an unheard of 28 million records, making it one of the best selling soundtracks in pop-movie history. It was also named on of the top 500 movies of all time by Empire Magazine.
